John H. Davis, 90, of Fort Pierce, FL died Thursday February 7, 1923 at Treasure Coast Hospice.
He was born on January 7, 2013 in Live Oak, FL and has been a resident of Fort Pierce, since 1948.
John was a retired contractor in the citrus business.
He served in the United States Army. John was also member of Mount Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Bettie Davis, of Fort Pierce, FL; sons, Barney (Barbara) Davis, of Lake Wales, FL; Albert (Marilyn) Davis, of Port Saint Lucie, FL; Derine (Sandra) Davis, Johnny (Sharon) Davis, Vincent (Patricia) Davis, all of Fort Pierce, FL; daughters, Wender Davis, Carmen Davis, Julia Davis, all of Fort Pierce, FL; Dorothy (Abdul) Malik, Mia Erskin, of Port Saint Lucie, FL; Pamela (Gilbert) Ingram, Tangie Davis, both of Richmond, VA; brother, Larry (Macie) Davis, of Buffalo, NY; twenty-seven grandchildren, twenty five great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
John was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Frankie Davis, sons, John Davis Jr., Tyrone Davis, stepdaughter, Merrilyn Johnson and parents, Elizabeth Howard and Charlie Davis.
Visitation will be held 3 to 7 Friday February 15, 2013 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1:30PM Saturday February 16, 2013 at Greater Mount Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery
