Janice Harriell McGee, 63, of Fort Pierce, FL died Sunday February 24, 2013 at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center.
She was born on December 18, 1949 in New York City, New York and has been a resident of Saint Lucie since 1958 coming from New York.
Janice attended the public schools of Saint Lucie County and a graduate of Dan McCarthy High School Class of 1969.
She was retired with the Saint Lucie County School Board 35 Years as a bus driver.
Janice was a member of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witness. She was also a member of the Bowling League.
Survivors include her sons, Rodney Harriell and John H. McGee III both of Fort Pierce, FL; daughter, JoAnna McGee of Fort Pierce, FL; mother, Sadie M. Harriell of Fort Pierce, FL; brothers, Clifford “Ricky” (Ida) Minus of Atlanta, GA, David Harriell Jr. of Richmond, VA; Jerome (Valarie) Harriell of Chesapeake, VA; sister, Sadie L. (George) Johnson of Richmond, VA; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, David D. Harriell and sister, Bernice Rue.
NO VIEWING. A funeral service will be held 4PM Saturday March 2, 2013 at Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witness, Fort Pierce. Arrangements are under the direction of Stone Brothers Funeral Home.
